TITLE: Junior Cost Analyst LOCATION: Chantilly, VA 20151 CLEARANCE: TS SCI CI Poly SALARY: $125,000 EDUCATION: Bachelor's JOBID: INT3510 JOB DESCRIPTION The Cost Analyst shall apply the principles, theories, and methods of cost estimation and analysis; develop cost estimating relationships and design cost estimating methods, which encompasses the following: Cost Estimating Experience on multiple space related product lines; GEOINT, SIGINT, COMM, Resiliency capabilities Space System Cost Estimating (e.g. NRO systems, NASAAF system) Launch System Cost Estimating (e.g. NSSL) Ground System Cost Estimating (e.g. mission managementcommand and control software, processing, ground terminals, communication networks, data centers) Services Cost estimating Parametric and Analogy Estimating Data Collection and Normalization Data Analysis to include statistical methods Tool Development Method Development (i.e., multivariate regression analysis, risk analysis (e.g. monte carlo simulation tools), cost improvement curve analysis) Source Selection evaluation support Cost estimating of Agile Development efforts CCEA RESPONSIBILITIES : Develop cost estimates, collect data, and develop modelsmethods for space systems and their associated ground and launch systems across multiple space related product lines. Apply advanced statistical techniques, normalize data, perform multivariate regression analysis, risk analysis (e.g. monte carlo simulation tools), cost improvement curve analysis, uncertainty analysis, and inflation analysis. Develop and mentor junior and mid-level Contractor cost analysts.
