Every employee takes a person-centered approach that exemplifies the ICARE values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) through empathic communication and partnerships between all persons.Work Shifts8:00 A.M - 4:00 P.MJob DescriptionSUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITESServe as assistant for the Interim Chief of Anesthesia and the Vice Chair for Anesthesia Department.Manage calendar, appointments, meeting schedules, answer phones, messages, documentation required and administrative tasks required.Monitor all maintenance requests, locksmith requests and necessary items requiring facility management intervention.Ensure maintenance of on-call rooms and all projects related to on-call room.Work with NYU to assist the Interim Chief with the submission of staff evaluations and manage staff folders, monitor the annual renewal of plete NYU payroll in Kronos and collaborate with NYU payroll to troubleshoot.Create and manage provider schedules in collaboration with the Interim Chief of Anesthesia.Manage all aspects of Anesthesia procurement activities (ordering, monitor par stock, work with vendors for quotes, follow up on orders.)Work with Finance, Receiving, and other departments to ensure orders flow.Supervise Department support staff (Anesthesia Technician, stock worker.)Create a schedule and monitor the time and leave of this staff.Perform other duties as assigned by the Interim Chief of Anesthesia, Vice Chief, andor Surgery Service Line Administrator.Minimum Qualifications1. Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in hospital administration,health care administration, public health or a related discipline; or2. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as described in "1" above,and one (1) year of administrative experience; or3.
