You are the voice of Lime with city officials, community members, and businesses promoting safety, increasing ridership and understanding of what local riders want. You are the voice of Operations to internal stakeholders and an internal collaborator. You work cross-functionally with government relations, central ops, product, etc. and will execute the market strategy while optimizing the fleet for the market. You will also maintain your market's P&L and you'll manage a small team, providing guidance and coaching to ensure everyone performs at their best.This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that requires strong project management, strategic thinking, financial planning, and stakeholder management skills. What you'll do:Be the operational expert for New York, championing operational excellence, owning end-to-end operational improvements, advising cross-functional reams and engaging in strategic discussions with key external stakeholders including city officialsDefine and implement operations strategies to expand Lime's service area, improve ridership and increase market share across New York City.Build and maintain relationships that drive community support and ensure compliance with local policies and regulations. Act as the primary point of contact for city officials, regulators, and local business partners. Coordinate the RFP process for expansion opportunities and service area agreements. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify areas for improvement and growth.Monitor performance and take ownership of key metrics that drive the market's P&L. Manage our relationships with out-of-warehouse Logistics ProvidersRepresent Lime in partnership with our Government Relations team meeting with local officials, business owners and customers as a representative of Lime to ensure compliance with regulations and to build relationships with key external stakeholders Spearhead safety initiatives for our riders and vehicles to ensure safety remains the #1 priorityCreate a positive, inclusive, and safe workplace where people genuinely want to work.About you:4+ years work experience in operations, consulting, engineering, or similar fields Demonstrated track record of achieving business outcomesAbility to understand metrics, P&Ls, KPIs and the levers to pull to drive results 1+ years people management experience Strong Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and manage relationships with city officials, regulatory bodies, and other key external partners.Financial Acumen: Comfortable leveraging data to visualize the impact of investments to drive profitabilityOperational & Strategic: Strong ability to balance regional strategy with day-to-day execution, turning high-level goals into actionable plans and driving market performance.Data-Driven and Analytical: Drive recommendations based on data-driven insights, financialcost modeling, and risk assessments.Excellent Communicator: Develop and deliver high-impact presentations, roadmaps, and reports utilizing data to convey business performance and strategic recommendations Problem-Solving & Process Improvement: Identify and address operational challenges swiftly. Your creativity and process optimization skills will be crucial in resolving issues and improving service.Advanced Knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets and SQL: Proficiency in spreadsheet modeling and data analysis is a major plus.Relentlessly Curious: Always wanting to dig deeper and understand the "why" - particularly when it comes to understanding customer needs and market trends.You bring energy, enthusiasm, and a collaborative mindset that inspires others and strengthens the team culture!The anticipated salary range for this position is $98,000 - $120,000. Annual performance bonus, equity and benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, depending on the position offered. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the candidate's location of residence, the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications.
