Licensed Practical Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will perform a variety of clinical support tasks to assist providers in treating private patients in a very busy Manhattan Pediatric office. The workload includes approximately 150 patients. Our ideal candidate has a compassionate attitude coupled with an impeccable bedside manner, as well as an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Top 3 Must-Have: Valid NYS LPN licenseAt least 1 year of pediatric experienceEMR experience Responsibilities: Assist providers in treating pediatric patientsPerform phlebotomy and other lab testsConduct patient triage and provide patient careUse electronic medical records (EMR), specifically eClinicalWorksPerform routine tasks such as taking vitals and other clinical support duties Essential Skills: Valid LPN LicenseAt least 1 year of pediatric experienceExperience with phlebotomyExperience with lab testsProficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR), particularly eClinicalWorks Work Environment: Shifts: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, or 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM (varies)Weekend shifts: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM on SaturdaySunday, required to work rotationally twice a monthVery busy pediatric office with approximately 150 patients per dayThe role offers 2 weeks of PTO, medical, dental, and 401K benefits, as well as opportunities for overtime hoursPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
