We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. Position Summary:We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Legal Billing Specialist to join our dynamic hybrid team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full life cycle of the invoice preparation process while ensuring that all invoices are accurate, compliant with client requirements, and submitted in a timely manner. This role demands strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with attorneys, clients, and administrative staff. This position reports to the local Billing SupervisorManager. The candidate must be flexible to work overtime as needed.Duties & Responsibilities:Edit Prebills via Prebill Viewer and Aderant based on the request from the Billing AttorneysGenerate a high volume of complex client invoices via Aderant.Ensure that all invoices are compliant with the billing guidelines and that all required supporting documentation is compiled prior to submission.Submit ebills via EHub, including all supporting documentation.Monitor and immediately address any invoice rejections, reductions, and those needing appeals.Respond to billing inquiries.Undertakes special projects and ad hoc reports as needed andor requested.Skills & Competencies:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor, and presentation.Effectively prioritize workload and adapt to a fast-paced environment.Highly motivated self-starter who can work well under minimal supervision, as well as take a proactive approach in a team setting.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsTakes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent follow-up skills.Must be proactive in identifying billing issues and providing possible solutions.Must have the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships within all levels of the firm.Qualifications & Prior Experience:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 3+ years of experience as a Legal Biller required.Aderant or Elite3E preferred, Prebill Viewer, E-billing Hub, Bill BlastProficiency in Excel required.The expected pay range for this position is:$37.51 to $41.94 per hourSalary will be determined based upon education, experience, job related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials in locations where market pay differs from the national average.
