As an Amuse Server, you have opportunities at every turn to touch the hearts of our guests, create personalized experiences, and unforgettable moments. Your genuine smile and knowledge of our offerings makes guests feel at home and plete Daily Operations (i.e. opening duties, stocking, polishing, cleaning and maintaining walk-ins, fridges and other areas as assigned by the F&B Manager on duty)Meet and greet guests and coordinate with F&B Team regarding preferences, allergies and special occasionsHave full knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methodsMaintain quality and timeliness of service and practice effective up selling and suggestive selling techniques to drive outlet revenueMaintain accurate billing, cash handling and float proceduresAssist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful wayServing group functions per individual client specificationsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverageFollow all Hotel Service StandardsAny other job tasks that may be assignedPhysical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following: Constant standing and walking throughout the shiftOccasional bending, kneeling, pushing, pullingOccasional lifting and carrying over 50 lbsFrequent pushing and pulling up to 25 lbsFrequent handling and reaching outward Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsQualificationsYOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:1 year restaurant experience preferred; serving experience an assetCreative and passionate about customer serviceAble to work in a high-pressure environmentMust be able to work any shift assigned, such as holidays, weekends, mornings, and potentially afternoons and evenings if needed.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a team playerAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a teamProvide the necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in Food and BeverageAdditional InformationWHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU:Position Hourly Rate: $16.77, tipped position.Employee Benefit Card offering discounted rates at Accor worldwideLearning & Development programs through our AcademiesOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within our property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibilities, such as Sustainability, Diversity, Inclusion & BelongingComprehensive Benefit Package which offers: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability & AD&D insurance, Accidental Injury Insurance, Hospital Support, Critical Illness Insurance, 401K plan, Paid leave such as Vacation, Personal, MaternityPaternity and Holiday.
