The Vice President, Capital Markets, will report to the MD, Capital Markets. The VP will leverage Link's existing data assets and produce impactful reporting to drive greater understanding of critical business trends and actionable, forward-looking insights for senior management to improve financial and operational performance. In particular, the VP will focus on the 30+ key insights questions identified by senior leadership which we believe can have the greatest financial and operational benefit to our firm over the next five years. The VP will collaborate and partner with business teams across Link, including the technology and research teams, to efficiently and effectively coordinate large, cross-functional analytics projects.RESPONSIBILITIES:Synthesize, cleanse, and monitor financial, operating, and portfolio data received from various internal teamsDrive new analysis and reporting into key business questions, including but not limited to financial and operational performance and capital allocationProduce actionable insights and strategic recommendations on how to utilize findings to improve financial and business resultsDevelop and present reports and dashboards to communicate key findings to senior leadership and BlackstoneIdentify opportunities in existing reporting and dashboards to make information more actionable for business usersCollaborate with various departments to understand their business needs to ensure complex questions have input and buy-in from correct stakeholdersCollaborate with analytics and technology teams on reporting and analytics initiatives to ensure execution with coordinated approach and resourcingMentor and train analysts in insights generation, corporate finance, capital markets, and financial modelingQUALIFICATIONS:10 or more years of relevant work experience in real estate analysis and insights generation, andor a related fieldStrong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; ability to leverage proprietary data and resources to understand business trends and communicate insights to leadershipTechnical skills in data analytics, visualization using tools such as Excel and various BI platformsExcellent communication skills (written and oral); ability to efficiently share results and importance of analytics with stakeholdersStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organizationDemonstrated high attention to detail with data and reportingAbility to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment$230,000 - $240,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
