Awake Overnights

Home Instead® CAREGivers provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes. These services are meant to enhance the quality of life for seniors. Home Instead® CAREGivers help clients and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity, pride, care, and compassion. CAREGIVER-AWAKE OVERNIGHT:Responsible to stay awake and alert overnight at an individual's home for the entirety of 8-12 hour shift. Needs to be available to care for the immediate and or urgent needs of the client during the overnight shift.Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited too: Reflect the core values of Broad Cove Senior Care, Inc. dba Home Instead.Contribute to a positive living environment to enhance a client's quality of lifeDocument daily activities and report any significant changes in a client's needs or living conditionsMaintain regular communication with supervisor and franchise office staffProvide Companionship & Home Helper services which could include:Companionship and conversationProviding stabilization and assistance with walkingPreparing meals and cleaning up meal-related itemsProviding medication reminders and appointment remindersPerforming light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)Washing and ironing laundryRunning errandsAccompanying clients to appointmentsProvide Personal Care services which could include:Assisting with bathingAssisting with groomingAssisting with toileting and incontinence issues *No previous experience or certification required - all training provided by Home Instead*Position InformationTitle:Awake Overnights ID:1043Please note that this is the job board for the franchise office located at 427 Washington St. Norwell MA 02061.
