Job Type Part-timeDescriptionReports to: Chief Operations OfficerProgramDepartment: ExecutiveClassification: ExemptSUMMARY OF POSITION: This position is a part-time position working Monday to Friday. This person will serve as Executive Administrative Assistant to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of The Puerto Rican Cultural Center (PRCC) to assist in coordinating and managing organizational initiatives and projects.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Produce and maintain clear, well-organized records; assist with data entry, reporting data, and other materials on programs and administration in collaboration with COO Assist in the development of office procedures, filing systems, and other system processesAct as liaison with internal and external partners such as vendors and consultants, answering and prioritizing requests for communication and contactAssists with the design, preparation, production, and distribution of a variety of organizational forms, flyers, documents, and publicationsPrioritizes and tracks time-sensitive events and assignments to ensure timely completionPerform administrative and clerical duties to support the work of the organizationHandles confidential and non-routine information appropriatelyAttends the PRCC and program-specific and organizational activities and meetings including but not limited to the monthly organization-wide General AssemblyParticipates in organizational annual events including but not limited to the Puerto Rican People's Parade, Fiesta Boricua, Three Kings Day, and Haunted Paseo BoricuaPerforms other functions assigned This position requires compliance with all of The PRCC's written standards, including its Standards of Conduct, all policies and procedures, and Regulatory Compliance requirements. Compliance will be considered as part of the regular performance evaluation.
