This is an ideal opportunity for a career-minded individual who is interested in building upon their existing institutional equity sales business.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with institutional clients and prospectsContact investors on a daily basis with data points and ideas to assist in their investment processIntroduce analysts to their respective counterparts and help maintain and grow these relationshipsSet up roadshows for companies to meet institutional investorsGarner interest and attendance for Wedbush sponsored advisor eventsOpen new accounts, increase account votes, and monetize Wedbush resourcesKeep management aware of any developments within client baseProvide client reviews to management teamMaintain and update CRM with customer interactionsPerforms other duties as required and assignedExperience and SkillsBachelor's Degree from accredited university required, preferably in Business, Economics or other related field5+ years of equity sales experience at a seniorproducing level requiredProven track record of establishing and maintaining institutional relationshipsSector Specialists in the following sectors: TMT, Healthcare, Consumer, FIGFINRA Series 763 licenses requiredExisting top tier institutional and middle-market relationshipsHighly organized multi-tasker who can work effectively independently or under supervision and under tight deadlinesTeam-oriented professionalism with entrepreneurial spiritExtremely strong communication and interpersonal skills essentialStrong desire to grow institutional equity sales businessMust be highly computer literate and proficient in ExcelJob BenefitsWhat Wedbush Offers YouAs part of the overall compensation package, Wedbush Securities (WS) offers an array of diverse benefits to our Colleagues. Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
