Works together with the Site Lead Physician andor Dental Director in effectively managing the program. Also works in conjunction with the AVP, COO and support departments to achieve MedicalDental Division goals and objectives. Sets and implements operational plan for site.Delegated Services Model Only:Responsible for oversight and contract management of the Master Agreements between hospital and provider servicesmedical groupIPA as well as the other agreements that support the Delegated Clinic Operation Staffing Model.This position is responsible for the administrative and business management of a large clinic (50+ FTEs) or multiple clinics (with a total of 50+ FTEs) providing ambulatory patient care and direct planning, development and implementation to achieve organizational goals: Patient Experience, Quality and Population Health, Affordability and, Clinic Team Wellbeing. Working closely with site medical director, clinical andor non-clinical managers and supervisors ensures daily operations achieve a high-quality, patient-focused primary care services for Senior Care, Adult Medicine, Pediatrics, Women's Health, and some specialty services. The director will lead engagement and development of all primary care clinic leaders and frontline staff to ensure clinic achieves safe, comprehensive, high quality, accessible, affordable and patient centered primary care across the continuum of care. The senior clinic director will comply with local, state, and federal requirements, inclusive of accreditation standards. The senior clinic director will collaborate with providers, nursing and front office leaders to develop and update evidence based clinical practice practices that are aligned with institutional policies and needed practice changes. The senior clinic director will report up to Associate Vice President (AVP) of Regional Operation and will be accountable to ensure clinic achieves budget, fiscal performance, and employee engagement. The senior clinic director will work closely with AltaMed departments to address clinic needs such as integrating new servicesoperations with provider and nursing evidence based standards, service priorities and quality performanceoutcomes measures, as well as with enterprise goals and objectives. The senior clinic director is expected to collaborate with the patient access team and patient service center to ensure timely access to care. The senior clinic director will lead Health Services initiativesprojects and committees with support from corporate leadersdepartments for the region andor division. This role will serve as a mentor for clinic directors and assistant clinic directors and may also support the regional AVP in interim rolesassignmentsMinimum Requirements1. Bachelor's degree highly preferred.2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a directly related healthcare field required.3. Minimum of 4 years of experience in ambulatory care or other relevant healthcare experience required; OR4. Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership capacity required.5.
