We're looking for a sharp Producer to join our award-winning Immersive team at Journey's SquintOpera studio in New York! About the Studio: SquintOpera is Journey's immersive design studio, bridging the digital and physical worlds through groundbreaking storytelling and emerging technologies such as Unreal Engine and virtual twins.We're the innovators behind the Empire State Building Observatory's digital reinvention, creating over 40 unique exhibits that transform 10,000 square feet into an interactive journey through history and architecture. At Battersea Power Station, we designed Lift 109, an immersive ascent experience that melds cutting-edge animations, interactive elements, and spatial soundscapes to breathe new life into London's iconic landmark. For Qiddiya City, we pushed the boundaries of virtual production, crafting a revolutionary campaign that ignited global excitement for Saudi Arabia's visionary sports and entertainment mega-development.We're at the forefront of a new era in experiential multidimensional design (MDX) and an integral part of Journey's Experience Stack. Inspired by the concept of a tech stack, our Experience Stack draws on decades of cumulative expertise from our physical, lighting, live & immersive, and emerging technology studios to produce magical, meaningful, original work. This integration propels our partners into new realms of growth and delivers multidimensional experiences that are not just consumed but that are lived and felt through every dimension of human interaction.About the Role:This role will involve project managing a broad range of projects, from strategic planning to content and media production. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with our clients, including major international developers, architects, cultural institutions, and visitor attractions. The producer will be responsible for delivering large and small-scale projects according to brief, timelines, and budget, managing both creative and technical teams in-house and externally. Due to the nature of our projects, it is ideal to have a background in producing immersive, experiential, or museum content, short-form films, and managing both creative and implementationproduction teams.Owns a slate of projects and manages the team on the day-to-day and the client relationship, with support from the Lead Producer, Project Director, and Creative teamCommunicates a clear sense of direction and expectations clearlyEstablishes strong client relations and is the central point of contact for designated projects, attending all client meetings to guide and manage production progressResponsible for project budgets between $20k and $2m+Plans working schedules and resources in line with production milestones; actively monitoring productivity and quality of output daily Regularly updates and manages projects via Squint Opera's online production tools, including G-docs, F-track, and Smartsheets Ensures project milestones and delivery dates are met Leads project reviews and team meetingsContract and manage contractors and external collaborators based in the US and overseasAsses project briefs with HOP and Directors to establish initial pitch presentation ideas and creativetechnical concepts Creation of pitch documents, quotes, and contracts for new businessOutcomes:Effective oversight of project logistics, ensuring alignment with client objectives and maintaining high production standardsClear communication and management of project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring all stakeholders are alignedBuild and nurture strong client relationshipsChampioning creative output, creating smooth collaboration between internal teams and external contractors, ensuring optimal productivity and output qualityProactive identification and mitigation of risks, ensuring seamless project delivery About You:Qualifications:[Required]Demonstrable experience (3+ years) within a relevant agencyproduction environment Experience managing complexmulti-deliverable projects Experience managing different types of resources (e.g., designers, editors, developers, etc.)Experience managing large project budgetsExperience with project management toolssoftware Strong verbal and written communication skills Organized and efficientExperience with Google Docs Advanced Microsoft Office suiteWillingness to travel [Desirable]Experience managing digital teams and an understanding of software development Familiarity with F-TrackFamiliarity with Smartsheets Indesign and Photoshop skillsCharacter Traits:Leads a range of complex and fast-paced projects and remains organized, calm and in control under pressureMotivates internal and external teams, balancing the needs of creative staff and project requirementsFlexible, can-do attitude.
