The Sales Associate reports directly to the Sales Manager.Some of the functions the Sales Associate will perform:Embodies our values: Adventure Guides, Serve Others and Own ItHas great personal style that is on trend and represents the brandAssists in fostering an energetic and positive working environmentDevelops strong relationships with customers who shop with us in-store and onlineListens to the customers' needs while presenting possible solutions Assists in designing customers' homes by confidently mixing our different furniture styles to the expectation of the customerPartners with all team members to create an easy transaction and great in home delivery serviceDisplays strong people skills: approachable, empathetic and a good listenerHelps ensure the store environment looks great by cleaning, maintaining and straightening merchandiseRequirementsThe ideal candidate will have, among other skills and abilities:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and team membersAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsTrack record of serving others and putting team goals firstOwners mindset; takes ownership over everything within scope of responsibilityEmbody an adventure guide; passion for the business, bringing curiosity and innovation to the jobProactive approach; identifies and solves problemsAdaptability; flexible to shifting priorities and a changing environmentDesire to continuously improveIf you are selected for an interview, a formal job description is available.
