The office initiates, orchestrates, and executes interdependent projects to enable the organization to achieve its goals and objectives. Each role requires cooperation with different functions, the different blockers they carry, and different stakeholders. About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work closely on cross-functional projects, shaping the high-level strategy of the business and, at other times, rolling up your sleeves to make data-driven operational decisions to drive the business forward. Reporting to our Chief Executive Officer, the Chief of Staff will facilitate communication and coordinate strategic, operational, and administrative activities among internal and external stakeholders, helping drive key projects critical to the CEO and the group's performance.This role is instrumental in driving organizational efficiency, enhancing decision-making, and ensuring the successful execution of key initiatives. The Chief of Staff is highly organized, analytical, and results-oriented, with exceptional leadership and communication skills.The Chief of Staff will require onsite meetings or travel to work closely with our Chief Executive Officer. The ideal candidate will reside in either Los Angeles or New York and has experience working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with constantly changing priorities. This role requires a proactive mindset, extreme discretion, and a willingness to manage confidential information.Strategic Planning & Execution Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic plans.Oversees dashboards, KPI collection, operating meeting agendas, facilitation, and action item tracking.Partner with Executive Admin support to organize the executive's schedule, prioritizing meetings and pile and present key performance metrics for analysis and decision-making.Ensure internal processes are well-documented, creating a foundation for operational efficiency. Corporate Development Conduct thorough financial and strategic due diligence on target companies.Develop valuation models and financial projections to assess deal attractiveness.Manage cross-functional teams involved in the M&A process and integration. Integrate acquired businesses into the company's operations.Stay updated on industry trends and M&A market dynamics.Special ProjectsEnsure alignment of strategic goals and facilitate effective implementation of our media operations plans and strategy.Effectively communicate strategic recommendations and insights to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.Build and lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and teamwork.Analyze project outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.Business Development Identify and evaluate potential partnerships, acquisitions, and joint ventures to drive growth and expand market reach.Support business development initiatives by conducting market research, identifying opportunities, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.Board of Directors Provide comprehensive administrative and strategic support to the CEO and executive leadership team regarding BOD deliverables. Schedule, coordinate, and prepare materials for board meetings.Facilitate communication among board members, management, and stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of board meetings, decisions, and actions.Ensure compliance with corporate governance best practices.Key Projects:This role will immediately impact our M&A strategies, including successfully integrating our target companies into our My Code organization post-close. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field; MBA preferred7+ years experience in a similar, executive-facing role7+ years of work experience in M&A investment banking andor private equity is a plus.Excellent financial acumen and modeling skillsExceptional project management capabilities, with the aptitude to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders at onceComfort engaging with senior-level executives on strategic initiatives with the guidance of the CEO and other cross-functional team membersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approachStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.Experience creating and overseeing presentations and are comfortable analyzing data and using insights for storytelling and influencing change. Confident in presentation skillsProven ability to develop and execute strategic plansAptitude to work independently and deliver measurable results in a timely mannerUnderstanding of financial analysis, strategic planning, and negotiationStrong understanding of industry trends and market dynamicsAdvocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion both internally and externallyBe a leader and embrace our team's core values: Culture First, Play Like a Team, Pave The Way, Care and Think BigThe anticipated base salary range for this position is $175,000 -$190,000.
