Employees are further expected to provide a high quality of care, service, and kindness toward all patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and guests.GENERAL SUMMARY: The concierge coordinator is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to patients and visitors of the hospital. This includes connecting patients to resources, scheduling appointments, providing patients comfort, whether that's an extra blanket or listening ear.DESCRIPTION:Duties and Responsibilities: Scheduling patients appointments with primary care and specialist physicians. Connecting patients with resources they need (Medicaid, food stamps, etc). Greeting and welcoming patients with a smile and ensuring patient care satisfaction is at 99%. Comforting patients by anticipating patients' anxieties, answering patients' questions. Recording and collecting patient information for follow-up appointments. Protecting patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information, HIPAA compliancy. Extending excellent patient care to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.JOB SPECIFICATIONS:Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High School Diploma required. Good oralwritten communication skills required. Ability to read work orders andor receive verbal instructions required. SMILE.
