Brookfield is committed to the development of our people through challenging work assignments and exposure to diverse businesses.Job DescriptionBrookfield Renewable is looking for an Analyst or Associate, Investor Relations who thrives in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment in a role that provides exposure to different facets of the business.Reporting to the Vice President, you will support the group in presenting its business, strategy and operations to both external and internal stakeholders. You will be managing relationships with colleagues and senior executives across the business to implement Investor Relations ("IR") strategies, build awareness among institutional and retail shareholders, maintain positive stakeholder relations and enhance the investor base.Responsibilities:The role will be focused on investor relations, communications and capital raising activities for the private funds managed by the Renewable Power & Transition Group including:Taking a leading role and being responsible for developing and maintaining investor onboarding and ongoing communications processesManaging inquiries from existing and prospective private fund investors which may include RFIs, RFPs, DDQs and ad hoc requests by utilizing all internal and external resources to provide responses to all routine and non-routine questionsCoordinate and manage preparation and dissemination of IR and capital raising materials (investor communications and updates, investor reporting, presentations, offering memoranda, case studies and fact sheets etc.) and internal communications materials (investment committee memos, investor updates, talking points etc.) for major transactions and capital raising initiativesCoordinate and prepare for quarterly conference callswebcasts with private fund investorsCreate and maintain competitor intelligence profiles and landscapesCoordinate road shows, conferences, diligence sessions, investor meetings, and asset toursWorking with peers in other Brookfield platforms to identify best practices to ensure quality and consistency of IR materialsAssisting with strategic initiatives across other IR functions within the renewable and transition groupPlanning and coordination of special projects and events, including Annual Private Funds Investor ConferenceSchedule communication, review proofs and postings to the Investor PortalProvide ad-hoc support to other business units including legal, human resources, finance, etc.Requirements:Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a particular strength in dealing with a wide variety of individuals at various levels within and outside of the organization;Self-motivated, proactive and demonstrates initiative; ability to work without a lot of structure;Advanced quantitative and analytical abilities;Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail;Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential and non-routine information;Able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.Qualifications:An undergraduate university degree preferably in finance, business or economics; solid understanding and interest in financial markets;Working towards or completion of a professional designation (CPACA; CFA);At least two years of relevant work experienceA solid understanding of private equity investment structures, basic financial reporting metrics, institutional investorsAnalystAssociate Salary Range:$100,000 - $125,000Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive.
