Stepful is backed by Y Combinator, Reach Capital, and AlleyCorp and recently closed a round led by Oak HCFT.The RoleAs a Senior Operations Manager, you will design and own strategic initiatives to improve our student experience and oversee a growing team of student-experience professionals. You will build processes and systems to scale our operations 10x efficiently while achieving high student and partner company outcomes. What You'll DoDrive strategic initiatives to improve a large portion of the student journey from learning to job placement.Design and implement experiments to improve student retention, learning, and placement outcomes, identifying opportunities for improved processes and automation at scale.Optimize operations and metrics tracking for a growing team of student experience professionals, including coaches, instructors, and placement coordinators.Own end-to-end projects, including revamping processes, scoping product features, and hiring student experience professionals.Own and achieve the student success metrics, including learning outcomes, certification, placement, and satisfaction rates.Work cross-functionally with our product, learning, and engineering teams to provide visibility into students' and student experience professionals' feedback to help inform their product roadmaps.This job is for you if: You have 5+ years of consulting or business operations experience in a direct-to-consumer startup, preferably in an edtech or healthcare environment.You are highly analytical, can optimize metrics, and successfully develop action plans to meet business goals.You can own both strategy & executionYou can motivate a team to support a large number of studentsYou are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done successfullyYou aren't afraid to get your hands dirtyYou learn quickly through experimentationYou thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environmentBonus points if: You have an MBAYou worked at a startupYou have taught or coordinated online courses at scaleYou worked in healthcareABOUT THE INTERVIEW Step 1: Intro Call with the Hiring ManagerStep 2: Take-home assignmentStep 3: Virtual panel interviewStep 4: Onsite interview at the office in SoHo, NYCCompensationBase Salary: $140-160kEquity: 0.04% - 0.06%At Stepful, we're an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
