About the Role:We're seeking a highly analytical and driven Category Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in driving category growth and profitability within the Auto Aftermarket sector. You will be a trusted advisor to our customers, leveraging data-driven insights to develop and execute winning category strategies. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our business and build strong relationships with key customers.What You'll Do:Elevate Customer Relationships: Build and strengthen customer partnerships by providing proactive support and strategic recommendations to maximize category sales and ROI.Become a Category Consultant: Serve as a trusted advisor to both customers and internal teams, identifying growth opportunities through data-driven insights and trend analysis.Collaborate for Success: Partner with customers and internal teams on line reviews, product assortment optimization, shelf merchandising strategies, promotional planning, and pricing recommendations.Data-Driven Insights: Generate standardized and ad-hoc reports using internal and external data sources, transforming raw data into clear, concise, and actionable presentations.Reporting Excellence: Efficiently manage large datasets to produce timely and accurate reports and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and visual analytics software.Empower Sales: Develop and maintain customized internal reporting tools to equip the sales team with the data they need to effectively communicate sales trends to customers. Respond to ad-hoc data requests to support and validate business municate Effectively: Present business trends and insights to Sales and Category Management teams during regular business review meetings.Support Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to special projects and assignments as directed by the Senior Vice President of CBO and the SEM Team.Maintain Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to IATF16949 and ISO14000 (if applicable).What You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytical Science, or a related field.Minimum 2 years of Category Management experience in RetailMassAuto Retail.Strong analytical aptitude and proficiency in POS reporting.Demonstrated project development and planning skills.Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey insights and category trends to customer management.Experience with Category Management tools (e.g., JDA ProSpace).Proficiency in working with databases (e.g., MS Access) and large datasets.Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite and Google Workspace (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.Physical Requirements:Ability to travel using public transportation.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.Potential Hazards:Normal hazards associated with an office environment.Normal hazards encountered with travel.What we offer:Comprehensive Health Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and life insuranceFinancial Security: Short-term and long-term disability coverageRetirement Savings: 401(k) plan with a generous company match of up to 6%Time Off: Generous paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and holidaysWork-Life Balance: Paid maternity and paternity leaveAnd much more!
