More information is available at Who are we hiring? The Payroll Tax and Accounting Analyst is responsible for managing payroll tax reporting and filing in partnership with ADP. The Analyst oversees payroll accounting reporting as it relates to Finance and Internal and external audits. The Analyst is an individual who can work well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.What will you do?Responsible for the US and Canadian Payroll Tax FilingsTax Vendor ManagementCoordinate State Tax Registrations with Corporate Tax departmentLead for responding to Tax Agency InquiriesAudit RequestsMonitor Tax Tracers (penalties, interestrefunds)Coordinate Unemployment Rate UpdatesProcess payroll adjustmentsAudit of Month End, Quarter End, and Year End taxes and reconcilingaudit of quarterly federal, state and local tax returns including the federal 941's and the state and local equivalents.Coordinate the reconciliation of W2's for multiple companies and the generating, distribution, and filing of Canadian T4 and RL1 Forms.Manage Third Party tax provider process for the preparation of Tax Filings, creating wire and check requests for Corp plete Payroll Costing on weekly basisWork closely with finance to research and resolve general ledger reconciling itemsProvide customer support to MSG employee inquiries which includes researching callsinquiries from management and employees pertaining to their withholdingInternal and SOX Audit requestsWhat do you need to succeed?Experience in Cloud payroll, tax processing and reporting expertiseBABS degree in accountingfinance or equivalent work experienceWorking knowledge of HCM or Oracle FusionExcellent analytical, problem solving, knowledge of payroll principles and best practicesAdvanced proficiency using MS Office: Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPointAdvanced knowledge of payroll tax at the federal, state and local levelsAbility to analyze information and use logic and process to address work-related issues and problemsCollaborative in natureExcellent communication skills, problem solving and analytical skillsExtremely detail orientedA passion for customer service and bringing that to life within the functionKnowledge of ADP Smart Compliance a plus#LI-OnsitePay Range$83,000-$150,000 USDAt MSG, we recognize the importance of upskilling employees' talents and strengths so they can drive their careers forward.
