Job Type Full-timeDescriptionNY Kids Club & NY Preschool is inspiring today's children to succeed in tomorrow's world with our love for play- and we're looking for a District Manager who is a champion of growth and development!Our mission is to instill a lifelong love of learning with our engaging curriculum, taught in a safe, dynamic and supportive environment and designed to enrich every child throughout their educational journey.We pride ourselves on an environment that allows you to find a sense of belonging, learn from your diverse teammates, who have a great sense of humor, and take pride in everything they do; if that sounds like you, join us!*This role works at multiple sites, and you must be willing to travel to multiple locations across NYC*Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, train, and mentor Head of School and Education Directors to achieve business results.Hold location leadership accountable for operational and financial performance.Identify professional development needs and implement training programs.Support recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies for staff.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.Sales & Enrollment GrowthDevelop and implement district-wide sales and marketing strategies to drive enrollment.Support Head of School in achieving revenue and retention goals.Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.Oversee community engagement initiatives to strengthen brand presence.Operations ManagementEnsure all locations adhere to company policies, operational standards, and best practices.Manage site budgets, control expenses, and allocate resources effectively.Conduct regular site visits and audits to drive continuous improvement.Optimize staff scheduling and ensure operational pliance & SafetyEnsure all locations meet regulatory compliance, licensing, and safety requirements.Oversee facility maintenance, security, and health & safety protocols.Conduct staff training on compliance.Customer Experience & Community EngagementChampion customer experience across all locations.Build strong relationships with families and community partners.Support the execution of marketing and outreach initiatives.Other duties as assignedRequirementsThis job is for you if you:Bachelor's Degree in Business Management andor Early Childhood Education or related field preferred or equivalent experience required.Minimum of 3 years in multi-site leadership within early childhood education, hospitality, or a customer-focused industry.Strong business acumen with expertise in sales and operations.Experience with NY DOH licensing compliance, article 47 preferred.Are a strong leader with proven experience, managing an upwards of 10+ direct reportsAre a customer service guru with exceptional hospitality skills Self-starter who has a passion for finding solutions and can tackle projects on their own Commitment to the highest level of facility safety and cleanlinessAre comfortable traveling to multiple sites across NYCPhysical exam and background checks are required for this position.What's in it for you:Medical, Dental, and Vision BenefitsPaid Time Off401(k) Savings and Retirement PlanTuition AssistanceCommuter ProgramDiscounted Fitness membership Pay rate based on experience ranges from $100,000 - $115,000 annually plus BonusCommissions Physical Demands:The role involves standing, walking, sitting, constant movement, and occasional climbing.
