Assistant Swim Coach - part time

Principal Responsibilities:Job SummaryJCC Mid-Westchester is seeking an experienced Swim Team Coach, which includes overseeing training sessions for the swim team and pre-team. This role encompasses coachingresponsibilities, swim meet management, administrative tasks, and other duties delegated by the Head Swim Coach andor Director of Aquatics. The Swim team coach will play a pivotal role inadvancing and nurturing both the competitive and noncompetitive swim programs.Key Responsibilities and Expectations: Assist in coaching Stingrays swim team and our pre-swim team program under thesupervision of the Head Coach and Director of Aquatics Present on deck at practices and works with specific age groups to develop swimmerscompetitive skills Practices run Mondays-Fridays with additional weekend meets throughout the season Attends all swim meets and Championships Assists in overseeing individual and team entries for swim meets Must be available to coach additional swim team programs such as clinics, camps,training trips, etc. Helps build team spirit Monitor and enhance performance while motivating swimmersPart-Time, 15-20 hoursweekPhysical RequirementsAbility to react to emergency situations by quick movements, strenuous activity, and on occasionassist or lift persons in distress of varying weights.
