Job Title: Investment Banking Analyst, M&A AdvisoryDepartment: Investment Banking, BiopharmaLocation: New York, NYSalary Range: $110,000-$125,000 The M&A Analyst will be a key member of an experienced team, contributing to a world-class investment banking practice focused on healthcare and life science companies, with broad and deep contacts within the biopharma and specialty pharmaceuticals industries. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of originating, structuring and executing sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions. This position offers the successful candidate consistent execution experience, significant responsibility, and opportunity for advancement.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Participate in client transactions, projects, or assignments as an Investment Banking AnalystInteract with clients, internal banking team and product teamsAssist in preparation of presentations and marketing materials (e.g. CIM, Management Presentations, etc.) for current and prospective clientsPrepare valuation analyses and other financial modeling analysis of clients and targetsReview business plans, conduct research and analyze financial statementsReview and manage due diligence process, including virtual data room preparation and counterparty Q&AExperience and Qualifications Required:+1 years of investment banking experience, healthcare related transactions preferredStrong financial modeling and analytical skills, including knowledge of financial accountingQualified candidates with a BS or BA in finance or similar field of study and a demonstrated exemplary academic recordOutstanding written and oral communication skillsHighly motivated, energetic, personable and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, meritocratic, team-oriented work environmentProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbout UsLeerink Partners is a leading investment bank providing a complete suite of financial solutions comprising M&A advisory, equity, debt, and derivative capital markets, equity research, and sales and trading capabilities.
