Merchandise Processor - Junior

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Merchandise Processor for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Midtown, Manhattan. Details for the position are as follows:Job Description: Pay $18.10-$21.27hr to Start! (Based on experience) 6-month assignment, possibility for conversion based on performance and budget. Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (Onsite) Primary responsibilities include executing all functions to ensure timely flow of items including sorting, ticketing, labeling, and packaging all merchandise while also managing incoming and outgoing deliveries from FedEx, DHL, UPS, and US Government Client. Position will be responsible for communicating and assisting with the processing of buyer samples including, opening packages for buyers, packing and shipping samples to vendors, maintaining buyer sample closets and organize samples for special sample projects andor strategy meetings. Position will also be responsible for managing the organization and cleanliness of conference roomsoffice as well as replenishing supplies, answering phones, covering reception, filing, and troubleshooting printers.Qualifications: High School diploma required. Experience working in a shipping and distribution role as well as supporting buyers is required! Experience in a high-volume inventory and distribution setting is highly preferred!
