Bartender

The bartender provides customers with an experience beyond beverages. This position requires a strong understanding of the drink menu in addition to other popular beverage recipes. Bartenders aid in creating a positive experience for guests with their sociable attitudes and engaging personalities. They must work well in a team environment and maintain the ability to think on their feet while ensuring quality and accuracy of orders. Candidates must offer availability daily, particularly during night shifts.Responsibilities to include:Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systemsIssue, open, and serve winechampagne bottlesSet up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other toolsPrepare fresh garnishes for drinksStock ice, glassware, and paper suppliesTransport supplies to bar set-up areaWash soiled glasswareRemove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated areaAnticipate and communicate replenishment needsProcess all payment methodsCount bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bankSecure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areasComplete closing duties
