Food Runner responsibilities include setting tables, serving food orders, and removing used dishes and utensils. If you'd like to gain experience in the restaurant industry and learn how to provide an excellent dining experience, we'd like to meet you. To be considered for this role, you should be available to work various shifts, including weekends.Ultimately, you will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by serving their food in a timely and accurate manner.Responsibilities:Follow all instructions from expeditorAssist with proper table coursing by communicating with servers when tables are cleared and re-mised andor going slow, etc.Knowledge of all table and position numbers, as well as descriptions, major components, and proper utensils for each dishInform Guests of basic information about offerings at the restaurant or bar-lab venues on property or locallyProtect establishment and patrons by adhering to all bar-lab policies and procedures, sanitation standards, safety and alcohol control policiesStay updated on current menu choices, menu additions, available menu modifications, and any unavailable itemsEnsure each order is delivered according to the restaurant's and Guest's specificationsCommunicate modifications andor allergens as necessaryCommunicate clearly any additional orders or needs the Guests may have to server or managerRemove guests' dirty dishes and utensilsDeliver used dishes and glasses to the kitchen for cleaningContribute to team effort by assisting other staff as time allowsPerform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by managerFill in for absent staff as neededAssist with special events as neededAdhere to grooming and appearance standards consistentlyPromptly address Guest service issues and refer to management when necessaryAdditional requests made by management to maintain flow of service, Guest experience, andor restaurant cleanlinessQualifications:Previous restaurant experience requiredPhysically able to carry 35 pounds; able to stand, bend, and move throughout shiftWorks well as part of a team and on individual tasksExcellent at verbal communicationWorks well and efficiently under pressureGood interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of staff and managementTop skills & proficiencies:Dedication to Guest experienceKnowledge of FoodVerbal CommunicationHigh EnergyAttention to DetailFlexibilityTeamworkThoroughnessProfessionalismCleanliness - personal and spatial
