DescriptionJob DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTIONA Dining Room HostHostess is responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience by helping to make a difference for every guest through Chick-fil-A's Second Mile Service procedures. As a Dining Room HostHostess, you will welcome & greet guests, maintain cleanliness in the dining room and restrooms, observe health and sanitation guidelines, and ensure each guest leaves with a smile! We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who enjoy serving others.Position: Monday-Saturday.The Ideal Team Member:Excels in a fast-paced environment and handles stressful situations wellPositive attitudeLoves serving and helping others and values teamworkExcitement to learn and take initiativeWilling and able to work in a physically demanding role (including able to lift up to 50 lbs, work on feet for several hours)Duties and Responsibilities:Greeting GuestsCleaning Tables, floors, and windows as neededRefreshing BeveragesClearing trays and trash from guestsRestocking suppliesTable touch-ins to ensure all guests feel welcomed in the dining roomMaintaining a clean store environmentClean restrooms (Trash, floors, etc.)Dining room trash taken out regularlyExpedite orders to guests and curbside pick upREQUIREMENTSMust have a source of reliable transportationAbility to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and lowReading, writing, and verbal communication skills requiredWorks in noisy and fast paced environmentMobility required during shiftsMust work well under pressureCompany InformationIn our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that's all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade®. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
