They are seeking an experienced Insurance Operations Specialist to join their team. SalaryHourly Rate: $20hr - $22hr Position Overview: Our client is dedicated to delivering exceptional insurance services that meet the needs of their members, partners, and stakeholders. The ideal Insurance Operations Specialist will manage the setup of new provider contracts and fee schedules, process provider-related changes, and assist with resolving providermember issues. They will address and resolve all inbound and reactive network-related issues from members and providers. Their team is built on a foundation of innovation, integrity, and a commitment to providing high-quality insurance solutions. Responsibilities of the Insurance Operations Specialist: Verify in-network status for physicians upon requests from the customer service team. Update provider systems with accurate demographic information, such as new TINs. Provide timely responses to general inquiries from physicians and share requested information (e.g., member ID cards). Address inquiries regarding insurance requests in a prompt and efficient manner. Ensure timely and accurate updates to provider data and contracts in relevant systems. Oversee the loading and removal of newterminated contracts across all relevant systems. Process provider data updates Maintain organized storage of all relevant provider documents. Support the network manager and director in all contracting and network management-related issues and resolutions. Required ExperienceSkills for the Insurance Operations Specialist: Minimum of 1 year of experience in health insurance or network operations. Prior provider relations experience is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree is preferred.
