Job DetailsJob LocationCorporate Headquarters - New York, NYPosition TypeFull TimeSalary Range$75,000.00 - $80,000.00 SalaryyearDescriptionRole OverviewAn experienced Retail Merchandiser with 3+ years of merchandising experience with confidence in data analysis, quick follow-through, and extreme attention to detail. This person must be highly knowledgeable in Excel and fashion merchandising. This role will manage our Comme des Garcon lines within our CDG Chelsea and Pocket locations in New York City and Dover Street Market NY, LA, and E-SHOP. Key Responsibilities:Own product lifecycle post-buy process; inclusive of driving strategies and movement with the goal of 60% full-price ST Drive inventory initiatives based on budget and sales trends, i.e. allocations, transfers, RTVs, replenishment, chase, etc. Create seasonal hindsight deck to guide the Buying team through opportunities during Market, focusing on the "big picture"Ensure all order confirmations are approved, and purchase orders are uploaded into the system within the designated time frame Provide direction to the Visual Merchandising team regarding product assortment and visibility In partnership with Logistics, regularly check stock and ensure it remains accurate across respective areasPartner closely with Ecommerce, Press, and Marketing teams to drive digital growth Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ensure deliveries are timely and communicated to all relevant teams Liaise with global DSM and CDG offices for special orders and product transfers as neededGeneration of regular reports to analyze sell-through and performance of brands and suggest actions.Manage and develop the Associate Merchandiser and Admin Assistant Key Requirements & Skills3-5 years' experience in a Merchandiser role; ideally Designer Multi-brand experience is ideal Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft SuiteMust be advanced in creating Excel reports from raw dataExcellent understanding of the entire buying and merchandising processExcellent communication and negotiation skills; both internally and externally Monitor the performance of measurable targets on a weekly basis.Planning and execution of product launchesCore CompetenciesA highly motivated individual able to manage their assigned businesses and converse internally and externallyA self-starter, able to set the standard by their own professionalism and attitude.Decisive, structured, and organized, with a keen eye for detail.Ability to work under pressure.Will strategize to drive the business forward.
