Project Manager, Packaging

Job Title: Packaging Project Manager Location-Type: Hybrid (3 days on-site in NYC; 2 days remote) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 1-2 month contract (potential to extend) Compensation Range: $38-44hour W2 Job Description: Lead and manage luxury packaging projects from concept to pre-production, supporting holiday gifting initiatives, influencer kits, and VIP client experiences. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Oversee gift-with-purchase packaging for eCommerce and retail, managing project timelines and deliverables. Facilitate the sampling process, present to C-suite executives, and communicate feedback to vendors. Collaborate with creative directors, product development teams, and external vendors to ensure brand alignment. Manage timelines for holiday packaging projects, from initial briefs to pre-production stages. Handle special edition packaging, influencer gifting, and high-value client kits. Provide clear project updates, manage vendor relationships, and ensure high-quality output aligned with luxury standards. Requirements: Must-Haves: 5+ years of experience in packaging project management Proven experience with luxury brands Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to executives and C-suite leaders. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., ) and beginner-level InDesign & Illustrator for basic edits. Nice-to-Haves: Experience in cosmetics, beauty, or jewelry industries. Knowledge of luxury brand collateral and vendor management. Ability to manage special projects beyond gifting, including holiday campaigns.
