Are you ready to launch a career at BlueHalo?Overview:As a Metrologist, you will specialize in the science of measurement, and you will be responsible for measuring and calibrating machinery, tools and equipment and to ensure all manufacturing instrumentation and products follow the correct specifications.You'd like to do this:Provide metrology and calibration engineering services on a wide range of electronic test equipment using customized manual or automated software routinesEnsure adherence to both Industry and customer standards and best practices, and compliance to any applicable board and reviewsIdentify and implement strategic equipment and process improvements and solutions that are consistent with the customer's vision and missionProvide technical support to test and inspection personnel and field personnel regarding test equipmentCreate and maintain procedures and documentation related to the metrology support requireMaintain a technical equipment library and calibration status and schedule of all equipmentDesign test procedures from manufacturer's specificationsInitiate procurement requests for vendor repairs and replacement equipmentCommunicate regularly with both Customer management and the contract PM on the status of the metrology requirements and supportYou're required to have this:Active TSSCI with polygraphAssociate of Science (AS) degree or higher in an Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology and 2 years of relevant experienceDemonstrated experience in metrology fundamentalsExperience working with, calibrating and repairing electronic test equipment from HP, Agilent, Keysight, NationalInstruments, andor Tektronix including signal analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators, function generators, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, power analyzers and network analyzers.Experience applying logistics and procurement best practices in order to support program requirementsDemonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, adapt quickly to changing requirements, and work independently and on a teamExperience with standard Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to effectively communicate processes and procedures to program employees, partner organizations, customer base, and outside vendorsSelf-starter that can establish priorities, resolve immediate issues, and coordinate with customer or program management on complex problemsStrong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with team members, customers, outside vendors, and procurement specialistsMust be able to lift and carry 50lbsUp to 5% CONUS and OCONUS travelAbout BlueHalo Intelligence SystemsBlueHalo's Intel division provides specialized operational support, services and technology to plan, design, develop and execute critical missions in the national security community.
