This is a REMOTE position for someone who resides in Hawaii. This role will also require travel when necessary. Travel required: Onsite client management as well as working from a Tetra Tech office if geographically available or from home office dependent on work. Travel may also consist of required durations of 14 to 21 days at a time if not longer for long-term deployments. Salary expectations: $100,000 - 110,000 based on experience.Responsibilities will include:Serves as Primary Point of Contact between client, stakeholders, and project team, and provides good customer service to applicants through prompt follow-up and a professional demeanorManages the overall operation and direction of the program or project and determines and defines project scopes and objectivesPredicts resources needed to reach objectives and manages resources in an effective and efficient mannerPrepares budget based on scope of work and resource requirements, maintains project work plan, and tracks project costs in order to meet Tetra Tech financial goalsProvides written and oral reports to contract management and client representatives and provides project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progressManages contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverablesDevelops strategies for achieving project goals and objectives and monitors progress and adjusts as neededMeasures project performance to identify areas for improvementProvides strategic guidance to team and leads internal meetingsReviews and approves project SOPs, Org Charts, and staffing changesReviews and approves employee's payroll and time and attendance requestsUtilizes industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project executionOther duties and responsibilities as assignedAdditional tasks may include (for FEMA PA support specifically):Provides customer service to assigned applicants throughout the FEMA Public Assistance grant management processWorks with the FEMA PA Site Inspector Task Force Leader and PA Program Delivery Task Force Leader to coordinate effective, efficient, and accurate delivery of grant fundingCoordinates with numerous stakeholders, such as recipients and subrecipients, to complete submission of FEMA PA grant applicationOversees FEMA Grants Portal application process to enter, update, and retrieve grant informationFollow applicable local, state, tribal, territorial, and Federal regulations on grant eligibility and works with Tetra Tech Subject Matter Experts to communicate changes to program requirements and their potential affects to client's goalsReviews project recommendations to develop RFI's with the requisite questions, documentation, and strategycourse of action with FEMA leads and transmits to ClientProvides technical assistance regarding FEMA and related funding sources and assists with eligibility determinations based on data received. Qualifications:7+ years of FEMA Public Assistance Grant ExperienceStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to utilize Excel functions to increase efficiencySelf-motivated, organized, detail oriented, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and objectiveFlexible, able to immediately adapt to changing prioritiesAssociate or bachelor's degree preferredPrior FEMA public assistance experience as a Program Delivery Manager (PDMG) including Grants Manager and Grants Portal experience, and direct contact with clients and recipients preferredAbout Tetra Tech:Tetra Tech combines the resources of a global, multibillion-dollar company with local, client-focused delivery in more than 470 locations around the world.
