Brookfield is committed to the development of our people through challenging work assignments and exposure to diverse businesses.Job DescriptionThe Asset Backed Finance, Vice President - Structurer will be responsible for the following:Responsible for working with rating agencies to structure and efficiently capitalize private investmentsMaintain ongoing dialogue with rating agencies to remain informed of current rating agency criteria and any methodology changesDemonstrate willingness to explore new asset classes and think creatively about potential novel structuresEnsure that legal documentation and trustee reporting accurately reflects agreed upon deal termsWork with internal constituents, including tax, legal, and accounting, to incorporate feedback into investment structuresCollaborate with analytics team to develop and maintain cash flow models on an ongoing basis for private transactionsCandidate ProfileBachelor's degree with an excellent academic record8+ years of experience in cashflow modeling and documentation of CLO or ABS securitizations, warehouse, and asset-backed financings; experience in multiple asset classes a plusStrong understanding of rating agency process and methodologies for securitizations, prior interactions with rating agencies requiredAbility to concurrently work on multiple transactions across different asset classesKnowledge or familiarity with insurance investment management a plusStrong capabilities in MS Excel and PowerPoint, VBA, Intex, and BloombergProactive self-starter with high attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and motivationExcellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skillsSalary Range: $200,000 - $250,000Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive.
