The IF Specialist Sr. Lead is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the teamproject.Responsibilities:Assisting in the marketing and sale of the IF Product range through preparation of materials and maintenance of databasesAssist in the preparation of EDAC and Greenlight memos (as applicable)In partnership with the Transactors, assist with the structuring and execution of more complex or tailored transactions, meeting Risk Acceptance CriteriaFull loan underwriting with appropriate risk return characteristics of Citi Private Bank's standard product range, ensuring appropriate compliance with Credit Policy and Risk Acceptance standardsPreparation of Credit Applications ensuring accuracy and completeness of dataFinancial Analysis including cash flow statementsCollateral Evaluation covering Marketable Securities, Property and other asset classesPreparing and negotiating credit documentation for facilities, including liaison with external counsel as required as well as undertaking the annual review of documentationPreparing and reviewing facility covenantsAssisting in Portfolio Management, including CA Annual reviews, covenant monitoring and compliance, waivers and extensions and all related system maintenanceProblem Recognition and assisting with classified loans remedial managementAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:10+ years of experienceStrong and proven analytical, financial structuring and execution skillsExperience as a credit officerStrong knowledge of Citibank's Credit Policies, Product Programs and Citi PoliciesAn in depth knowledge and understanding of Financial Analysis including Financial and cash flow modellingExcellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsGood negotiation skillsStrong initiative and interactive approach to problem solvingDisplays flexibility and independence in a demanding environmentTeam PlayerEducation:Bachelor'sUniversity degree, Master's degree preferredJob Family Group: Private Client Product ServicesJob Family:IF Lending GeneralistTime Type:Full timePrimary Location:New York New York United StatesPrimary Location Full Time Salary Range:$192,000.00 - $288,000.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
