Overview:Egan Company is seeking candidates for a Shop Services Clerk position located in our Panel Shop in Champlin, MN. This is an hourly position with standard work hours of 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and overtime as needed. This position will report to the Panel Shop Operations Supervisor in our Industrial Controls Group.Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, components, and supplies for damage and accuracy. Accurately place products in designated warehouse locations. Resolve shipping errors, lost shipments, and internal picking errors. Process shipping information with vendors and our Shop Information System. Maintain a safe, organized, clean, and efficient work environment. Pick and kit components to support production needs. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently for material handling (certification provided). Participate in 5S and Lean initiatives. Identify and contribute to Continuous Process Improvement efforts. Adhere to all safety and security regulations within the shop and warehouse. Maintain professional communication with coworkers, customers, subcontractors, vendors, project managers, office, and field staff. Collaborate effectively within a team environment to achieve shared goals.Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Strong motivation and ability to multitask effectively. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. Proficient math and communication skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds independently, and up to 85 pounds with assistance. Intermediate computer skills. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
