This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive environment where clinical expertise and leadership thrive.Job Summary:The Assistant ER Nurse Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Emergency Department Nurse Manager in overseeing daily operations. This includes ensuring high-quality patient care, managing staff schedules, coordinating patient flow, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies and procedures. The position requires strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and the ability to function effectively in high-pressure situations. You will also provide direct patient care as needed and serve as a liaison between staff, physicians, and other departments within the hospital.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Leadership:Assess and manage critically ill patients in the Emergency Department.Provide direct patient care as needed, including advanced life support interventions.Delegate tasks to nursing staff based on patient acuity and competency levels.Monitor patient care quality and ensure adherence to established clinical protocols.Staff Management:Assist with staff scheduling, ensuring appropriate nurse-patient assignments based on workload and skill set.Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to nursing staff.Address and resolve staff concerns related to patient care and work environment.Participate in staff recruitment and onboarding processes.Operational Oversight:Monitor patient flow and collaborate with other departments to ensure timely patient transfers.Manage resource allocation and inventory control within the Emergency Department.Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.Identify and implement quality improvement initiatives within the munication and Collaboration:Act as a liaison between the Emergency Department staff, physicians, and other healthcare municate patient status updates to relevant parties and coordinate necessary consultations.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.Required Qualifications:Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.Significant experience in emergency nursing.Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Why Join Us?Supportive, collaborative work environmentOpportunities for professional growth and leadership developmentCompetitive salary and benefits packageFocus on quality patient care and safetyIf you are a dedicated and experienced ER nurse with leadership capabilities, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
