QA/QC Engineer of Record

Insight Global is looking for an Engineer of Record to join the team of power engineering consulting firm in New York City. This individual will support the quality assurance quality control of mechanical designs for their overall retrofit programs across the NYC metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical Engineering with HVAC design as well as QAQC experience. This individual will review, sign and seal drawings and specifications from the engineering department to the respective state jurisdiction. Required Skills & ExperienceBSMS in Mechanical EngineeringNYS PE License5+ years of experience in designing and reviewing MEP projects (ideally with mechanical retrofit projects) Experience working in compliance with NYC and NYS building codesStrong communication, technical, and management skills Nice to Have Skills & ExperienceExperience supporting municipal and government agencies including but not limited to: DASNY, CUNY, MTA, OGS and other NYS agencies Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
