This role focuses on asset management, accountability, and the Acquire to Retire (A2R) process. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in audit remediations within the Intelligence Community and DoD organizations, contributing to achieving clean audit opinions. Our client is a specialized management consulting firm that engages experienced professionals and consultants to support the federal government with strategic project execution, financial process optimization, advanced IT solutions, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation. Through innovative transformations, they develop and implement strategies to optimize operations for military departments and agencies across the U.S. Federal Government.Key Responsibilities Lead remediation efforts to resolve audit findings and achieve clean audit opinions. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations. Provide on-site management of government financial audit support services. Build and maintain detailed project work plans (POAMs), including specific tasks, assignments, milestones, and audit schedules. Ensure compliance with acquisition and financial regulations, contributing to asset management and accountability. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and audit readiness.
