In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our newsletter portfolio, driving subscriber growth, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, engaging content to our audience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the crypto and blockchain industry, coupled with expertise in newsletter strategy, content creation, and audience engagement.This role is based in NYC and will be required to work from our office located near Union Square a minimum of 3 days per week. What You'll DoDevelop and implement comprehensive newsletter strategies aligned with our overall content and business objectivesCreate and optimize newsletter templates and content approaches, ensuring brand consistency and maximizing engagementParticipate in editing newsletter content for clarity and consistencyConduct various tests on formats, subject lines, promo modules to inform new strategies to engage and grow our audiences and increase open rates.Monitor & Analyze key performance metrics and user engagement data (such as email deliverability, open rates, click through-rates, conversions and ROI), to continually improve newsletter content and strategyIdentifying opportunities for email optimization and implementing AB testing to analyze performance metrics to optimize campaign effectiveness and engagement rates.Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to develop and execute subscriber acquisition and retention campaignsStay up-to-date with the latest trends in crypto, blockchain, and Web3 to ensure our newsletters remain relevant and valuable to our audienceWork closely with other content teams (editorial, video, social media) to ensure cohesive messaging and cross-promotion of contentIdentify opportunities for new newsletter products and oversee their development and launch including subscription initiativesManage relationships with email service providers and other relevant technology partnersEnsure compliance with email marketing regulations and best practicesWhat You Have:3+ years of experience in newsletter management, preferably in the crypto, blockchain, or financial media spaceProven track record of growing newsletter subscriber bases and improving engagement metricsStrong understanding of email marketing technologies, automation tools, and analytics platforms. Experience with 3rd party tools like Sailthru, Hubspot, etc preferred.Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to distill complex crypto concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand contentExcellent written and verbal communication skills with an analytical mindset to interpret data and derive actionable insights.Experience in news journalism or related industryKnowledge of the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, including current trends, key players, and regulatory landscapeKnowledge of setting up and running a successful newsletter referral programFamiliarity with email marketing regulations and best practicesBachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field recommendedAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong project management and organizational skillsExperience with AB testing and data-driven content optimizationBullish US LLC & CoinDesk Inc. are committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $115,000 - $140,000 + discretionary annual target bonus + performance incentivesbenefits.
