In addition, there is premium meeting and event space, including a 6,000 square-foot pillar-less ballroom with three walls of windows overlooking Central Park.About the jobBased at the Mandarin Oriental New York within the Executive Office in New York City, the Executive Office Manager and PA to GMAVP is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Executive Office. The Executive Office Manager and PA to GMAVP reports directly to the General ManagerArea Vice President.As Executive Office Manager and PA to GMAVP, you will be responsible for the following duties: Administrative support of daily GM task Update and optimize daily GM work schedule Update and maintain GM contacts Assist with daily GM correspondence of emailsocial mediaphone Assist with GM's guest relation duties when needed Assist with GM's representation throughout when needed Assist with PPT and Excel sheet presentations, reports, and other documents Assist with all work and private travel arrangements Assist with ad hoc project work which will be defined throughout the year with clear project tasks and timelines Assist with managing maintenance of Executive office Assist on ad hoc basis with other EXCO members urgent tasks e.g. HM DOFB tasks Assist with season tasks e.g. gift card sales Assist with daily business related research Assist in sharing EXCO communication throughout hotel Serve as liaison between the Executive Office and other departments Work closely with People & Culture on colleague events As Executive Office Manager and PA to GMAVP, we expect from you: Strong writing, proofreading, and verbal communications skills Flexible work schedule - as per GM's need which may include SaturdaySunday and early AM or late PM work - all when needed and as agreed verbally on a need basis with GM Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in similar position, preferably in luxury environment Excellent organization and time management skills Must have excellent attention to details, and extensive service knowledge Able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Our commitment to you Learning & Development.
