Key Responsibilities: Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Collaborate with estimators and project teams to analyze scope and ensure alignment with financial goals. Cost Control & Reporting: Monitor and analyze project costs, identifying variances and implementing corrective measures. Prepare and present regular cost reports, forecasts, and financial summaries to stakeholders. Procurement & Contract Management: Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and subcontractor agreements. Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors and subcontractors to achieve cost savings. Project Financial Oversight: Track and allocate resources to ensure optimal budget utilization. Manage change orders, contingencies, and under-billings to maintain financial accuracy. Collaboration & Communication: Act as a liaison between project managers, accounting teams, and business operations to ensure seamless financial management. Provide guidance on cost implications of design and construction decisions.
