Job Posting Description40- Hour LICSW social work position that will provide a range of clinical social work services and case management to the Waltham Satellite of Boston Children's Hospital. This satellite offers ambulatory services in over 35 inpatient and outpatient medical specialties plus imaging and laboratory services. This social work position will provide services to the whole site and all specialties.This Waltham Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for: Psychosocial screening and assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and facilitation of use of hospital and community servicesActing as a resource information and referral, program development and psychosocial consultation to multidisciplinary teams To qualify, you must have:Master's degree in Social Work. LICSW licensure in the state of MA is requiredFlexibility and the ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environmentExcellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skillsExperience in medical environment and with child protection issues helpfulPersons of diversity strongly encouraged to applyThis position is 100% onsite and based in Waltham (Free parking!)
