Merchandise Processor

General Summary: This position assists the Merchandise Analyst in all aspects of the buying department.Major Responsibilities:Daily Communication with warehouse regarding order maintenance; PO issues.Write and follow up with purchase orders.Place buys under direction of Division President and Buyer including written orders and follow up.All coordination of paperwork and shipping.Markdown maintenance under direction of put and classify new styles.Attach and maintain merchandise UPC's.Verify invoicing against closed PO's.Specific Job Skills:Ability to understand and follow somewhat complex verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively with others.Must be organized, able to set priorities, and a self-starter.Job duties tend to be recurring, but occasionally requires attention to andor coordination of concurrent job duties.Under direction, examines basic information andor situations and prepares summaries or draws conclusions for evaluation by others.Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations andor Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent experience1-3 years experience in retail or related fieldProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelLanguage Skills:Good verbal and written communication skills requiredGood interpersonal skills requiredSalary Range: The pay range of this position is $24 - 26Hr. Actual salary will be determined based off candidate's skill sets, years of experience, and other job-related factors. This range does not include benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, 401K, and additional company benefits
