We offer both Spanish and Mandarin immersion programs for students in grades preschool through eighth grade.Position: Infant and Toddler After School CounselorYOUR ROLEAs an Infant and Toddler After School Counselor, you'll play a key role in providing high-quality care and supervision to preschool and school-aged children in our After School Program. Working closely with our Auxiliary Director, you will help create an engaging, safe, and enriching environment for our young learners. We're looking for an individual who is passionate about early childhood education, eager to support children's growth, and ready to be part of a collaborative, dynamic team. You are excited about working in a school environment and are committed to putting the needs of students and the program first.You are warm and professional: You are friendly, approachable, and maintain professionalism when interacting with children, families, and caregivers.You are a team player: You thrive in a collaborative setting and are dependable, punctual, and always ready to help your colleagues when needed.Bonus points if you are a fluent Spanish or Mandarin speaker: Our program is trilingual, and we welcome counselors who speak Mandarin or Spanish to enrich the immersion experience for our students.WHAT YOU WILL DOProvide attentive supervision and meet the daily needs of children, including assisting with bathrooming for younger children.Prepare and organize classroom materials and learning environments.Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.Lead group activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development.Supervise pick-up and ensure a smooth transition for children leaving the program.Manage snack time, ensuring students enjoy a safe and pleasant experience.Create and maintain a welcoming, functional, and stimulating environment that fosters learning and exploration.Assist toddlers with bathroom or hygiene-related activities.Work alongside the team to share responsibilities, including laundry duties, classroom organization, and general upkeep.How to ApplyPlease upload your resume along with a brief cover letter explaining your interest in the position and relevant experience.
