With more than 1500 employees across the US and Canada, the NHL is a global sports and entertainment organization committed to building healthy and vibrant communities using the sport of hockey.At the NHL, we are looking for dynamic, energetic and impactful individuals who are committed to doing the same by sharing in our philosophy that Hockey is for Everyone - and inclusion belongs on the ice, in the locker rooms, boardrooms and stands.WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOUSUMMARYThe role of Director of Ticket Operations will collaborate with the Vice President of Ticket Operations in the successful planning and execution of ticketing for the League's Special Events.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The position of Director of Ticket Operations is responsible for but not limited to the following:Direct liaison with venues, member clubs, and TicketmasterPrepare and assist in venue scaling with our Strategy & Analytics team Financial reconciliation of ticket sales and maintenance of all auditing proceduresProduce accurate reporting upon requestImplementing Ticket sales plan with internal groupsExecute events in non-traditional environmentsWork cohesively with internal groups such as Event Operations, Broadcasting and Entertainment as it relates to their impact on ticket manifestsOversee box office operations on event dayProcessing of all internal ticket requestsProvide superior customer service to ticket patrons and other stakeholdersTicket Inventory managementMaintain a high level of working knowledge of ticketing industry best practicesDevelop support staffFrequent travelQUALIFICATIONSKnowledge AreasExperienceRequiredThe ideal candidate will have substantial experience in a similar ticketing environmentThe ideal candidate will have a required minimum experience of 5 years in Ticketmaster environment.
