SERVICE MANAGERThe Position: PackSmart is a growing packaging equipment and supply company looking to add a Service Manager to the team. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years' combined relevant experience in a service tech and manager role. Compensation is commensurate with experience.The Company: PackSmart is a family-owned (3rd generation run) premier provider of packaging equipment and supplies. We need someone to challenge the status quo and find better, more efficient ways to perform the position.Requirements:5 + years working in a service tech and manager roleMust be able to multi-task and effectively prioritizeMust be detail-orientedExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability in troubleshooting and repairing equipment (point person for service techs)Ability to work in challenging and time-sensitive situationsResponsibilities:Leads, manages, and holds employees accountableConduct and schedule trainings for all service techniciansManages the hiring process for new service personnelOversee the profits and budget process of the department & focuses on Service Revenue GrowthImprove and monitor preventative maintenance programManages priority of service calls in conjunction with Service CoordinatorDirects contracted projects & large machinery installsintegrations to verify adherence to specificationsSupport Sales Department in closing high-end machine sales through demos, installation, and trainings.Handle escalated customer service issuescomplaintsMonitor parts inventory turnsApprove new service customers and maintain relationships with key customersPlans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations. Handles safety compliance relationships (Avetta, ISN, etc.)Back up to Service Team positionsBenefits:Our employees are critical to our overall success.
