Workload: 100%As a Quantitative Risk Analyst at Axpo U.S. LLC, you will play a vital role in ensuring transparency, trust, and reliability across risk management and valuation processes. You'll provide accurate insights to drive informed decisions, support innovative energy solutions, and foster collaboration across teams.What you will do:Develop and maintain advanced valuation curves, volatility surfaces, and infrastructure platforms.Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data sources, model inputs, and end-of-day valuation models.Support the energy transition by driving sustainable and efficient use of valuation models.Act as a sparring partner for originators, advising on the impact of new products and energy policies.Promote innovation in renewable energy markets and align practices with Axpo Group standards.What you bring & who you are:A master's degree in mathematics, statistics, quantitative finance, engineering, or similar analytical field.2-5 years of experience in quantitative risk analysis, ideally in energy trading or financial markets.Strong understanding of US energy markets (power, gas, certificates) and risk models.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, and experience with ETRM systems.Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.About the team:Join a dynamic, forward-thinking team that collaborates across markets and regions to deliver top-tier risk management solutions.
