This position is a FULL TIME working (9:45am-6:15pm) and assisting and planning the education curriculum Monday Friday.This role is a great opportunity to jump-start your career! As an Assistant Child Care Director you will be responsible for overall leadership of a child care center for school aged students. Be responsible for staff supervision, daily schedule, enrollment and building parent and school relations. Licensing Option 2: Education & Certifications: 2 year college degree in related field, EMSA First Aid & EMSA CPR Certification, 15 college units accepted by licensing (3 units in Child Development, and 3 units or 60 training hours in Administration, and 9 units or 180 training hours in Recreation, Elementary Education or related field) required. Licensing Option 3: Education & Certifications: 4 year college degree in related field, EMSA First Aid & EMSA CPR Certification, 15 college units accepted by licensing (3 units in Child Development, and 3 units or 60 training hours in Administration, and 9 units or 180 training hours in Recreation, Elementary Education or related field) required. Licensing Option 4: A Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or a Child Development Program Director Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.Experience & Background: Licensing Option 1: Must be at least 21 years of age. 4 years of experience working with children, previous supervision of staff, and completion of all requirements for 16 hour Preventative Health Practices required. Licensing Option 2: Must be at least 21 years of age. 2 years of experience working with children, previous supervision of staff, and completion of all requirements for 16 hour Preventative Health Practices required.
