Global People Operations Manager (6-month Contract)

We are seeking a Global People Operations Manager candidate for a 6-month contract. This person will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our People Ops and ensuring the seamless delivery of People support to employees. You will work closely with various departments across the organization to implement People strategies that support business objectives and promote a positive work environment. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in People operations, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for fostering a culture of excellence.Key Responsibilities:People Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations needs of the HR department, including employee records, data management, auditing, and system complianceSupport the first line response of HR department support inboxOversee and own all onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day policy managementDevelop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standardsContinuously assess and improve HR processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectivenessHave an understanding of labor compliance requirements in key areas to support regional managementCross-functional Collaboration & Project Management:Lead HR projects, such as system upgrades, policy rollouts, and employee engagement initiativesWork closely with other departments, such as Finance and IT, to ensure HR operations align with overall business goalsTeam Leadership:Lead and mentor the People operations team, providing guidance, support, and training as neededGeneral Administration: Oversee relationships with HR service providers and vendors, ensuring high-quality service deliveryQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or Equivalent Work Experience7+ years of experience in HR operations, with a strong background in payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing HR operations teamsIn-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, as well as Microsoft Office or Google SuiteStrong organizational and project management skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the tech or media industryMaster's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldCertification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP)Experience with global HR operations and understanding of international HR practicesKnowledge of advanced HR analytics and reporting techniquesProven experience in leading HR process improvement initiativesWhy Shutterstock:You have a direct impact on the success of the company.
