We offer professionals opportunities to train in the leading technologies, make an impact within the industry and acquire valuable new skills whether on client sites or in one of our regional offices.Position OverviewAlign is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Payroll Administrator that is willing to help with various HR Generalist tasks or an HR Coordinator with strong ADP Workforce Now experience and the ability to manage an outsourced payroll provider. The primary function will be to manage our outsourced payroll working with ADP. This will include being the liaison with the ADP Outsourced Payroll provider to ensure they have the accurate information needed to process payroll for our employees. This person will also relay information back to the company related to payroll updates and changes. for our established and growing company. Candidates should have 5 to 8 years of relevant experience managing and processing payroll. Recent ADP Workforce Now experience is required. Solid ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is required and knowledge of payroll laws and requirements is preferred. This position will also be expected to cross train with other members of the HR team and support ADP WFN HRIS administration, benefits administration, new hire onboarding, and recruiting. The Payroll Administrator is a hybrid role based out of our mid-town Manhattan Office. This will require the person we hire to work in the office 3 days a week and work from home 2 days per week.This is a full-time position offering $70 to $90K base salary, plus benefits, paid time off and additional compensation. ResponsibilitiesManage an ADP outsourced payroll provider to process payroll for US multi state workforce on ADP Workforce Now with OnboardingBenefits modulesUpdate employee's payroll records for changes in rate of pay, location, position status, wage garnishments, etcProvide payroll information to management andor employees requesting informationResolve payroll discrepancy issues; process quarterly payroll amendments, if necessaryOwn the relationship with the outsourced payroll provider to ensure accurate and complete payroll processing for 300+ employees including bonuses, expenses, and monthly employee overtime checksOrganize, maintain, and update employee wage, tax and personal information in ADP Workforce Now HRIS Payroll systemCorrespondence with ADP representatives on related payroll issuesEnter and follow up on Direct Deposit InformationMaintain security and confidentiality of all informationPreparation of year-end payroll reports for audits (Insurance audits); General Liability and Workman's CompensationSemi-monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting to ADP on Section 125 & 401k PlansYear-end Verification of W-2'sEmployee Benefit maintenanceAddress employee payroll inquiries and submit data changesCross train and help with other HR functions such as benefits administration, recruiting, and new employee onboardingSource, screen and schedule candidatesMaintain and update ADP WFNAssist with new hire pre-start set up, onboarding and orientationQualifications2 to 5 years of relevant experience managing and processing payroll - recent ADP Workforce Now experience is required1+ year of broad HR experience including benefits administration, HRIS administration, new employee onboarding or recruiting is a plusExperience managing an outsourced payroll provider is strongly preferred, but not requiredA willingness to grow beyond payroll administration and work on various HR tasks, projects and initiativesExcellent communication, teambuilding and collaboration skillsStrong payroll administration experience and proficient in ADP Workforce Now and ExcelAbility to create custom ADP payroll reports as well as run standardcustom reports is preferredUnderstanding of employee classifications of EXEMPT and NON-EXEMPT as far as NON-EXEMPT Professional and NON-EXEMPT hourly (calculation of employee overtime)Ability to create and upload templates for payroll changesupdatesAbility to reviewconfirm information on quarterlyannual payroll tax reports as well as other ADP generated payroll reportsAbility to set up new hoursearnings codes and deductions codes . . . such as those related to Section 125 plansKnowledgeUnderstanding of Employee Benefits and related payroll deductionsExperience with an expense management system would be a plus, but is not requiredAble to establish and maintain effective working relationshipsTier 2PM20Align is a premier global provider of technology infrastructure solutions.
