This position is the first point of contact with clients, following the application and referral process.Essential Job DutiesResponsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential functions include the following:Greet clients as they are entering a treatment program.Create a clientcustomer focused experience for all clients seeking treatment services.Facilitate the intake process to ensure appropriate treatment for all potential clients.Assist clients with required paperwork during the intake & admissions process.Ensure clients who are meeting with remote staff are placed on telehealth technology.Walk clients back to medical services, if needed for ambulatory withdrawal.Clearly communicate with admission team to ensure clients are moving through the intake and admissions process as quickly as possible.Log into the admissions call que to answer calls between appointments.Manage and screen all walk-in appointments.Cover front desk, as needed.Required Skills & Experience (Minimum Qualifications):High School Diploma or GED required.Must be 21 years of age or older.At least 1 year of freedom from problematic substances.Must be comfortable working with people with life-controlling challenges, including mental health and addiction.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively manage time.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, staff, and leadership.The ability to live and work by MnTC's culture of honor & core values - practicing compassion, honor, respect, integrity, servanthood, and trust.Must complete DHS background check and be cleared to work in human service programs.Must be able to meet specific staff requirements outlined in Minnesota Statutes 245G.11 (including understanding of client rights).
